What I have been learning lately is that 100s across the board is NOT a good setting for 109s. I'm just asking for what other aces (or grand masters http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/11.gif) are using for their joystick settings for the bf109.

The reason why im saying 100s suck is because with the X52 joystick I can barely shoot someone flying strait, even with trim.

Im not a grandmaster, though I can throw the 109 around very well and have switch joysticks to the saiteck and made the adjustments.

setting all 100 on this stick is good though alittle bit hard on the aiming side of things. Note I use the 109 as it was made for BNZ style and energy fighting so most of the time im in a dive or high speed when shooting.
Because of this the siteck stick isnt as sensitive as other sticks so the Pitch need to be 100 across the board as in high speeds you find you'll be pulling right back on the stick for a zoom climb.

The roll I use to have setting 70 80 90 100 then the rest 100 though I found more agressive flying and when you on someones 6 following you really need to be sharp as possible so I changed it to 100 across all. (the FW190 works well with the original settings above)

Lastly the Yaw this will effect your aim allot and need alittle smoothing out. I have these at 70 80 90 100 100 100 etc.

So if you want to have a more steady aim I suggest you turn all to 70 80 90 100 100 100 etc and pick and choose what you want based on your flying style.

Note though I do Trim my 109's to pull up, this helps allot with aim in a dive and takes out the pitch jerking.

hope this helps

I almost exclusivly fly the 109 since the demo and I use 100 across the board. The 109 is twitchy to the slightest imput when flying straight so you have to be subtle and gentile with the stick.

100 all the way, all axises. I have tried 5 different X52s and only one of them didnt have problems with the yaw(twisting stick), you might want to try using the rudder with one of the throttle's wheels instead. You'll have a "rudder trim" in planes that dont have it, too. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

IMO the best joystick for 109 is Microsoft Precision 2. It is the best at saving energy in a dogfight.
