I notice when P47's are AI controlled they always drop the flaps for take off. The placard on the control panel however states that the best setting of flaps for take off is 0º or basically no flaps. I tried it both ways and didn't see much difference, it seemed to accelerate a bit quicker with no flaps.

Another fix for the patch ?

Any comments ?

All AI planes drop their flaps for takeoff but not completely. They set their flaps to the "takeoff" position. I usually set the flaps to "takeoff" by pressing the V key before accelerating slowly.
