I was reading the sticky about "Know Facts" about AC and I read this

- You have to build a reputation with the crowd around you. Each person in the crowd that surrounds you has individual Artificial Intelligence, something not possible without the power of the PlayStation 3.

Does that mean the AI system only works in the PS3 version and probally the PC version? Will Xbox 360 owners be left out of this feature?

thats a quote from a ps3 mags interview, and early press releases when it was only linked to ps3

the ubi team have also said that the 360 is better able to handel the ai and crowd actions then the ps3, somthing to do with the hardware

and anything they can do a pc can do better casue we can just buy some new parts and make it better ^_^

Hehe yea, the 360s better because no one even knows how to use more than 6% of the PS3s power!

I don't think that the ps3 isn't able to do it, it's just that it's harder for the programmers to make it work. Need I remind people that the first 360 games were only programmed to use one of the cores? So you see that the programmers will be able to take full advantage of the consoles after having more knowledge about them. It's not like the hw in the ps3 is bad...
Besides I think that you won't be able to see the difference if you're not trying to.

No, they mean that the AI wont be as good on the 360 and the ps3 can support more AI on the screen all doing different things at the same time. Ubisoft has created a new software to have hundreds of different AI all reacting differently to you.

IGN had an interview where they made it seem as though the XBOX360 version would be better than the PS3 one. They later made a retraction saying that the XBOX 360's hardware simply made it easier for the programmers and that the AI will be equal in all versions.

fanboys ( BOTH SIDES ) are funny :P
The AI will be the same in every version of the game. Thank you very much, goodbye.

No...a PS3 mag said that.
Jade Raymond mentioned that the AI would be easier to program on the 360 due to the symmetrical cores. IGN took that out of context and assumed that the AI would be better on 360. Ubisoft then released a statement saying that the AI will be the same on all versions but they're putting a special emphasis on Achievements for the 360 version.

No, they said it may be easier to program on the 360 but it will be better on the ps3 because the ps3 has more raw power than the 360 and it can fit more AI on the screen. being easier to program means that it will not be as good think about it. if its harder its probably more complicated and that means it is more advanced.

They never said that it will be better on the PS3.
The fact that the PS3 has more raw power means nothing if people have trouble coding for it.

The easier it is to program for the something, the better the result will be. I don't know how else to explain this to you.

If it's harder and more complicated, it doesn't mean that it will be better at all. That's an opinion.

Just because it's easier doesn't mean it's less advanced. If it's easier, that means it's more streamlined.

And all developers have complained that the PS3 is very difficult to code for mainly due toe asymmetric core design, as opposed to the symmetric cores of the Xbox 360.
