Hello;

I have a Palit Daytona GeForce IV Ti4200 64 Mb. and i tried to use the latest nVidia drivers in it but i got several problems in games like Command & Conquer Generals (my armies appear always in white colour) and Lock-On (freezing after mission start). Now i'm using 45.23 driver but still have some problems... For example, in black areas during games it's common see blue squares... It happens a lot in Lomac first screen wich simulates an aircraft computer... I was playing C&C right now and suddenly the screen returned to Windows XP Pro and a message saying that some kind of several error has occured and the game must be closed... Pretty bad...

Plase, help! Thanks.

I have a Creative Ti4200. Used the tweaked StarStorm 56.72 drivers for a while. They are very good.
But there is a new set of tweaked drivers now, ExtremeG. The guy making them is only 17 years old. Lots of praise made me test them. They are truly the best drivers I have ever used. Great framerate, smooth.
I must add that my comment is based on use in IL2/FB/PF, as I do not play anything else.

Great place for drivers, tweak utilities and forum is http://www.guru3d.com . Get RivaTuner while you`re there, to optimize your driver setup.

The ExtremeG drivers can be found at http://www.valancestudios.com (registration required) but actually they can be fetched directly at http://www.valancestudios.com/Drivers/ . Get the 71.20c / 25 dec set.
