I dunno...

I had a lot of problems running FB with a GF2 MX400.

Only when I traded it for a Radeon 9200 SE was I able to play the game decently.

The only thing in your rig I can see will limit you might be the GeForce 2 MX. When I started the basic card I used where I can play this sim fine was a GeForce 3 Ti200. But that was the original IL-2 I was playing. FB added more features, AEP and now PF added more, so now the GeForce 3 might not even run it well anymore.

Try to shoot for a basic DirectX 9 card like the FX 5200 or Radeon 9200 series, if you have a limited budget.

Ahh hello mr. Stalin. Yes like the others said, its really worth of trying. Don´t be scared about all these threads that say it´s not. It´s not perfect, but definetely fun and merged installation really rocks http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/25.gif

ps: I used to run this game with radeon 9600XT and i got nice perfomance, of course not in perfect mode but it wasn´t too ugly either. So if you find this, why not give it a try, it´s cheap too!

Go to the 'community help' forum and post a new thread - link to this one! Also send a Personal Message to a moderator (maybe?). http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

PF is good, it's best with a merged install of IL2 and Aces Expansion Pack. Your graphics card really isn't going to be up to the challenge and honestly, the CPU is on the weak side. The PF box indicates minimums of 1GHz CPU, 512MB RAM, DirectX 9.0 compliant sound, and a 64MB graphics card. These really are bare minimums in my estimation.

The recommended is a 2.4GHz CPU, 1GB RAM, and a 128MB graphics card. My system is an AMD 3500+ CPU, 2GB PC3200 RAM, NV6800 Ultra PCIe 256MB video card and a Sound Blaster Audigy 2ZS sound card. I can run Pacific Fighters in perfect mode with water = 1 and maintain a minimum of 20 fps, most of the time I get 35+ fps, but I can't run it maxed out with water = 3 and keep high frame rates.

youll be able to play it but more than likely youll have to set most stuff to low settings. capagns with alot of stuff such as ships AAA will hurt your FPS . how ever its worth it.

I wonder what happens if I choose ADOLPH_HITLER_ as my nick. How long I would stay active memeber here?

Frankly I cant recognize which one of those two was worse. I know something for sure. Both were paranoic mass-killing bastards.

So why one is allowed to admire and the other is tabu?
