The Zero and Rufe in the game have a tinted glass that flips up in front of the reflective gunsite when you toggle the same keys that uncover a gunsight on an Oscar.

What is that tinted glass for? Shooting into the sun? Was it really used?

Yes, it is for firing into the sun. I have never used it often but there are times when it is very handy.

That tinted glass on German planes is excellent. I have few occaseions where it proves to be very usefull indeed.

About Zero's gunsight, I have noticed some weird stuff; that other wire-gunsight (when you start the game that gunsight goes to left side and you can't bring it back) sometimes get into vertical position therefore allowing player to aim thru it. But I did not figure out how this is happened but it happens in combat often.

Also I have one more question: where is the trigger for Zero's guns and cannons? I as reading a topic about this some time ago but I can not remember the answer. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

In fact it was not tinted glass and if you get a closer look there isn't any tint in game. It's an alternative, old fashioned, metallic gunsight.

That happens when your gunsight gets shot up. You don't see the damage because the damaged sight graphics weren't completed in time for release. This will be fixed in a patch.

The trigger is on the throttle. Looks like a bicycle hand-brake. The two-position thumb switch selects mg or cannon.

So you couldn't fire both at the same time?

Maybe they could wire them up like some Russian pilots from Cobra equipped 9.GvIAP did (Pokryshkin&Co.)? http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/59.gif

why we cant use that wire-gunsight?...aiming with wire gunsight is easier cause it covers our "christmas tree gunsight" in zeke....
