Two very UN-related topics, admittedly.
I haven't seen much in the way of mountainous terrain in PF screenshots, and I am hoping that such eminences as the Owen Stanley range and the numerous semi-active volcanoes on Rabaul are included in the maps. It would truly be an immersion-deficit for me at least if these areas end up being flat (thinking of Lake Balaton on the Hundary map http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/51.gif)
I guess I will simply choose to believe that Luthier got it right until I see differently.

Another concern is the conspicous lack of IJAAF bombers. No Helen, Lilly or Sally?
On the Navy side, Nell is conspicously absent as well. Any word on these types, without which an immersive and believable campaign (for either side) will be difficult to acheive?

Looking forward to flying over the vast expanses of the Pacific!

There were a few shots of Japan that showed some significant mountains...so I'm hopeful.

Whats wrong with the Balaaton map? Its got a good amount of variation in elevation around the map...so does Lvov. Particularly in the south west quadrant.

I think more AI bombers are on the way.

I'm sure that there will be enough content in PF to allow us to note missing elements, and still enjoy the product. Think of how FB evolved. I have no manner of doubt that future updates will allow us most if not all of the list of planes we feel we may be missing.

As far as lake Balaton goes, it was an important landmark for many countries' air forces and it seems a natural to me, to be included in FB

Several community members who are familiar with the area have remarked that the Lake Balaton map is missing the mountainous features that it has in R/L.

I hope that such omissions are few in PF. That's all- http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

I also hope that the Owen-Stanley Range is modelled. The mountains there are nearly 4.000 m (12.000 ft)high. There you are forced to climb to high altitudes and have high atitude dogfights (not so good for P-400 and P-39 http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif ) So it would be a pity if the map is flat...
