The mutch waited 3.04 came, but it does not include the new planes many have waited for.
So, can we have some info about when the planes are going to be released?
Thanks!

Oleg seems to be trying to pacify the masses with these mini-patches so that we don't notice how delayed the real patch is. I guess it gives some of us something to do while waiting for the addon that was supposed to appear right after PF was released. I haven't installed a new patch since 3.02 personally. I need that fast exe.

Still waiting...

Since I will be able to take off from a carrier fully loaded, this patch is all I need for the moment...till the BIG ONE comes...

I agree, but I don't think it was delayed...it was expanded in scope. I hope so...anyways I'm not sure what they are doing. Nobody does. Thats the problem...just need to be a little more open on whats going on so we can just be comfortable with what we have and know that good stuff will come later.

Don't worry, they just couldn't fit them on the CDs back then because there wasn't enough space ! You'll be able to download them very soon !

Why not make a DVD?? then you have alot of
space! Cause bot cd's arent bigger than 1,5 GB... and one dvd is 4,7 GB....

But i want one good addon rather than 10 bad addons! so i will wait in patiance.

(sorry for my english.... it's not that good http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/35.gif )

My patience has run out.

I was patient for quite a while, and saw 3.04 today with much excitement. Every time there is a new patch, "the big one" is going to be next.

We were told 3.04 was going to have the addon aircraft we've been waiting for, that we were promised right after release(3 months ago) and would be out in about 3 weeks. We've gone through 4 patches now without them. 2 more months of the same we will go through, then they will announce a retail addon. It will feature what we were supposed to originally get right afterwards for free.

Sorry, but 3 weeks is too much time for nothing but a fix for 3.03's errors. For now I'll be saying goodbye to Il2/FB/AEP/PF merged and going back to CFS3 100% of the time, a community of players cfs has given more support than this developer has. If anyone wants to reach me, I'll be busy crafting a great med theater and playing with correct 1% flight models.

MS didn't do 1% FM's, Avhistory.org did, thusly they aren't UFOs(and based on physical data not opinion)

The underlying data and formulae are always tweaked to someone's opinion. Not going to go through the whole FM look up tables to physics models like Pf and Xplane.

I think you really mean like X-plane as PF does not use a pure physic's based flight model it simplified and uses 'module's' to simulate a lot of stuff according to Oleg.

Here you are perfectly right. We just do it partially. Simplified in many ways. And I never told that we do exact copy of each single aircraft...isn't it? Simply if we'll calculate say only airfoil in terms of all real time calculations - we'll get freezed PC. So we are going for some predifined terms (again not table) and we simplify the formulas to the level that possible to use in real time on a current PC together with other real time calculations. That is only the right way for the current moment of the simulation word if we'll speak about simulator that is able to work on home PC, but not to use the separate restricted computers for different tasks (like for big military simulators of single aircraft).

Perfect way when all _real_ time calculations will be possible to handle in one PC. For that thing its
still long way
