I see that you can land quite hard and still get credited for a landing. I even bend the propeller without penalty. But I have seen that I have got credited for a kill when someone I shot has landed. Think it was "player is on the ground safe and sound" http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

Question is: is there any differense between the landing messages? Player land, are RTB or whatever? Has it something to do with damage or is it just for the variation?

I think it has to do with the player being on the ground alive inside the perimeter of a base or at least behind friendly lines. I think most people get half their kills damaging an enemy plane which returns safely - which is why there is no point in playing for points or stats.

except if you are flying in virtual wars. In CzechWar, for example if you shoot at some one, then he escapes and get home safely, il-2 will mistakenly give the killl to you, and you will receive the "enemy aircraft destroyed" message, but the parser will only recod the lane you actually killed, thus you won't be getting points for free. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif
