There are new pop-up banners on the IL2 site.

One of the pop-up banners innitiated a confimation window that wouldn't allow me to close it unless I confirmed by clicking yes or no. By clicking yes, you agree to their contract... In my case, I never click Either and I always do the control alt del. That caused an error on my system and created a message to microsoft....

Il2, you should watch who you allow to advertise on your site. With all the active x stuff and now the popups, I'm not so sure I want to keep coming back to this site.

Please clean your act up...Thanks.

Might want to clean the spyware off your machine http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif.

No pop-ups here. TRy adaware or spybot, both catch things the other does'nt.

Really?

Sorry everyone.

It's only on the homepage.

AdAware: http://www.lavasoftusa.com/
SpyBot Search & Destroy: http://www.safer-networking.org/

I suggest you clean off the spyware ASAP. Who knows what nasty things it might be doing to your system...

I'm not sure what is going on now.

Now when I go to the home page, nothing comes up.

I have Adaware and McAfee software on my system and I regularly scan. It was wierd because it only happened on the IL2 site and only on the home page. Perhaps they had something on their system for a moment?....I don't know. Well, anyways, it appears to be gone now. Thanks for responding.

I just get so tired of battling all this crap all the time. I've been working on computers sinse 1990 and I feel sorry for people with far less computer skills than myself.

To get them before they get on your machine, I highly reccommend SpywareBlaster 2.6
