I hate to sound like Im selling Shaks stuff for him, but if anyone owns a twisty stick like a MS Sidewinder or something you should really get this throttle. It will enhance your experience and functionality to another level if you never used a throttle. It retails for 100 bucks and I would love to see someone take advantage of this great offer and post some feedback for those that have not made the HOTAS leap.

Enjoy yourself Shak, we will see ya when you return! http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif (We always do return)

Havok is right. I have the throttle and it's a great addition to your joystick. It'll help free up some of your joystick buttons and you can move alot of your keyboard commands to it for easy access.

Hi SDtucker
Hi,

What exactly is the function of the throttle ? ( remember I'm just a noob) http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/touche.gif And in what way, can be helpful for me, beside move alot of keyboard commands to it for easy access? I know this is greatly important, but I wont understand a bit more of the device, can u explain me ? http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Cheers.

Exactly as you have said m8. With a CH throttle, you can move a lot of the keyboard commands to it for easy access. I use a CH Throttle along with a MSFFB Sidewinder stick and only go to the keyboard to bail out or do multi engine starts. Because you have a slider on each device, I have throttle on the CH Throttle and use the MSSFB slider for elevator trim.
