Now I'll be there again monday, just gotta get 30 bucks I have 6 at the moment http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif so this might be difficult but I'm not comin back empty handed

Don't know if you're close to any but Best Buy tends to have plenty of copies of 1946. That's where I finally got mine.

Jeez where are you Kansas?
I've been there and there aint NOthing and i mean Nothing in that state. Travel down I-70 West past Silina and theres nothing but barbed wired fence & open praire on each side as far as the eye can see. I'd rather drive across Texas twice than Kansas once. And the ppl there are nice....but starnge and i mean really starnge. Ppl pick on us Southerners and think we're weird.....Midwesterners are the only ppl in the US that Make Californians look ALMOST normal.

You think that's bad.

Try going into downtown Wichita in the middle of the day. Not a soul on the streets and the only thing that moves is tumbleweed.

I lived in Wichita for about 8 months.

I actually loved it there. It was the first time I'd ever lived in the midwest (I moved from NYC).

It was scary driving through the country in Kansas tho. Total moon landscape except for the odd oil rig.

I used to live in Kansas City, Missouri, and we used to take road trips to Denver every year. Needles to say, that was one long, boring drive taking I-70 through Kansas.

Stopping in Topeka was a highight.

That's how boring it was. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif

Well I'n not in Lansas, but I am close by in missouri, well I'm in the borrom of missouri in the "bootheel" but I guess the state is connected to kansas (or is it oklahoma ,aww heck)
but same thing basically, except there are people out at noon just old people and ******s that can't freaking drive. I just got back from the store here and its a ten minute drive. I was almost hit at least 8 times ,half the other people drove about 15 mph in a 35 zone and then some little ******** kids just walked like tards down the middle of a dark wet street , should have mowed their trouble making butts down (thier dads a drug dealer and by extension thier bad people ) Yep so I went from yay I'll get to fly again to gawd I want to hit someone , its that kinda town......

http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif I work with 2 of these and they walk the same, I call them gansters to their faces (Noo I'm not a ganster - Yeah right!), and ask them if their one leg is shorter than the other.. they look puzzled at this, then again you cannot expect any more from that!!.

I nearly got the one to re-educate himself - schoolwise, but he's since dropped out - moron!

I was stationed at Ft. Riley, Ks for 4 years!

I really liked it, but then I'm from central Illinois. Parts of Kansas are pretty empty, but you could say the same about the western portions of Nebraska, Oklahoma and Texas.

The only place I've lived that I really did not like was Chattanooga, Tn (11 months). The only thing I liked about it was the Civil War stuff that is literally all over the place there.

As for Kansas...i only stop for gas. thats it. nothing to see till ya hit Colorado.
I'll take us 78 out of Birmingham, through tupalo..and into Memnphis, then down through little rock and into ft. Smith. cut across the muskogee turnpike and head north through Witchita till i get to Salina. then it's i-70 west into Arora and East Denver. I always stop in Wolfs taven anytime in in the Dever Area. lotta fun was had in that little rat hole of a Bar/motor lodge. lol

yeah i lived in Gods own personal outhouse for over a year. Modesto, Califonia. When the Lord had to take a dump....that's the place he does it. I also lived in Colorado for a yeah & /2. Which is almost as good as living in Alabama. Notice i said Amost. If gov. bob Riley called tommorow and said.."son i'm sorry but we're kicking you out of Alabama...you'll have to live in some other state....that state would be Colorado. many reason.

1. Californians are all whacko nut jobs with no sence of reality whatso ever. And 80% of them are all hooked on meth.

2. PPl in Miss. are too stupid. and stupid ppl scare the $hit out of me.

3 Florida isn't a SOUTHERN state anymore...contrary to popular belief.

4 There are more foriners in Ga. than there are Americains.

5. Couldn't live in Tennesee. mainly becuase if i hear "Rocky Top" one mre time my head will explode.

6 Ark. is too close to texas.

7 La. Sorry dont speak coonass.

8. the Carolinas are nice..but there are ppl there who want to kill me. (seriosuly)

9.Virgina ...to many dmn politicians.

10. DC same thing.

11. W. Virgina - too many hillbillys.

11. Kentuky..... they don't like football in kentukey. Srry but basketball isnt my choice sport to follow.

12. Basically anything north of the mason dixion line. becuse it's too f*CKING COLD THERE AND THERE ARE FAR TO MANY YANKEES!

AND ANYTHING WEST OF tEXAS/cOLORADO is off limits. (see reason #1)

So it's Alabama or Colorado.

Yeah, nothing like a nice little civil war. Is there a war going on in Chattanooga as we speak? Funny, that sort of thing should have hit the news, especially considering Chattanooga sounds like an attraction at Disneyland. I remember when there was civil unrest in L.A. and it really hit the news bigtime. Even here in Sweden. Or maybe I'm confusing it with the "Escape from L.A."

Colorado is gay because of the Avalanche.

You can't wash away the sh*tstain that Patrick Roy and Claude Lemieux left there. As a Wings fan, I can't believe those ****** Avs fans still consider themselves a rival team.

Ummm...nooo. There were two major battles (the Battles of Chickamaugua and Chattanooga) fought there in the American Civil War in 1863. Chickamaugua was fought just a few miles south of Chattanooga. After that battle (one of the most bloody in the "Western theater" yet least well known), the Confederates laid seige to the Union army in Chattanooga. The Union army broke out of that trap with a series of battles on the mountains and rifges in and around the town.

You can drive along Missionary Ridge (which is now smack dab in the middle of the city) and see all sorts of monuments to the troops that fought there. There's also some stuff on Lookout Mountain and scattered around the river.

If I never see another "Rock City" or "Ruby Falls" sign in my life, I'll die a happy man.
