what's the difrence between the two terms? becauss I have herd the axis and JAP fighters be referd to as the same thing.

Words used in RAF flight comms. Angels = altitude, Bandits = enemy aircraft

E.g. Bandits at 12 o' clock high, 30 plus, at Angels 15. = Enemy aircraft dead ahead, more than thirty, at 15,000 feet.

Please use the term Japanese.. Jap is considered a slur by many Japanese folks... if you dont want tpo type the whole thing then use IJN/IJA for Imperial Japanese Navy/Army..
