Thanks man. I saw a P61 fly at dixford earlier in the year, its way more maneuverable than i expected for its size and a beautiful plane to watch. Very fast and agile. Thanks for the link. Ill give that a watch in the morning.

Sorry I wasn't standing beside you there, but whatever it was, for sure what you saw was not a P-61.

There is one in the United States Air Force Museum in Dayton Ohio. One in the collection of the NASM awaiting restoration. One on disply in China. One being restored my the MAAM and that is that. Other that wrecks in the jungle and rumors in China of others.

From my perspective of one that saw service in the war, the one in China is the only one remaining. MAAM hasn't restored theirs yet. The USAF Museum and the NASM are both C models which did not see service in the war.

I could cry.
