I managed 598km/h at 20m during a quick flighttest. This is wonderful!

She's a beaut now eh Robban? I think the tank feels more like a D9 than ever before, thanks to the better acceleration and higher top speed.

Keep toying with her, you might find 612kph possible on Crimea under the usual conditions, or something close to it.

There`s a heck of a lot NOT mentioned in the Readme! I dunno why Oleg does it this way... Maybe to give us little things to find?

Robban,

Perhaps a low-level speed boost for the 'Stangs as well?

A guy can hope... http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

Fw-190s all got a major boost in the patch. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-surprised.gif

They seem much more stable now and less finiky. A-4 has some major agility now!!! http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-happy.gif

I flown the 190 since it was first brought into the game. Good or bad I have stuck with it. How about the 20's??? Do you have more hit power, or are still shooting bb's??

WOOT oh yes thanks oleg the Ta is very fast now. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif
I managed 604kph TAS at 10m on the crimea map with clear weather and 25% fuel and the overheat stayed away very long with rads closed MW50 enabled 110% power and 90/95 pitch http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_eek.gif

i also did a quick with the mustang and it did 594kph with 25% fuel rads closed

Ta was slower and overheating way faster in 2.0 Pingu.. And a Dora is a Fw190 D9 http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/blink.gif

Zen--
05-20-2004, 06:14 AM
Ta152 could get about 558kph in 2.0 at SL on Crimea, Dora could get 594kph or so if I remember correctly. I haven't flown 2.0 in a long time actually.

In 2.01, both should manage 600-607kph or thereabouts at SL on Crimea.

i never had a problem with ta152 overheat http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
and i know what a dora is, i meant its top speed http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_rolleyes.gif http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

o well i hope the speed is realistic, cos i think the ta152 has more power to overcome the extra drag of longer wings i guess

My absolute topspeed at low level with the D-9 was 614km/h. That was with 25% fuel. With full fuel 612km/h is the maximum. This is the '45 Dora with MW50.
The Fw 190D-9 '44 has a maximum SL speed(in FB) of 608km/h. RL topspeed was 621km/h.

The 45 Dora-9 seem to be spot on both climb and speed, but the 44 version is too good for the lower boosts it used. There isnt much differece between the 44 and 45 version in terms of performance, as a matter of fact.

Yeah the Ta-152 is alot nicer to fly now...may have more to do with firepower than anything else really. Its good fun however...just takes a bit of getting used to!

the boost fuel injection system is screwed up. sorry to contribute something negative to a postive thread but its true. you have less than a second to react to an overheat while using the boost before the engine completely dies.

NN_EnigmuS

you're wrong patch-adams lol if you play it auto pitch,110% and Mw50 boost it's good and even on manual pitch put 95/90 pitch because with 100 at high speed you broke your engine in 3 second(propeller turn to fast and broke engine)and it's normal but different from 2.0 so it's not a bug

thanks oleg for the great Ta and Fw

What's so special about it?? Just another example... Type VIIC U-Boats had a calculated crush depth of 250m. You know Das Boot maybe? 280m http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif. No crush http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/59.gif. (I think it was also in the book)
Maybe Lavochkin calculated 30m/s climb for the La-7? Or 650kph top speed? After your comments, it should be like that http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/34.gif.

PS: Got 578kph max so far... looks spot on.
