Guys with please help me out -- I have purchased X-45 today and the throttle won't go above 87% in game (in control panel settings throttle red bar won't go over approx.3/4). I have pushed the throttle stick to maximum and in game it won't go above that 87%.

Is there a way to calibrate it maybe? Or something else that will help.. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_frown.gif

Its worth downloading the SST stuff if you haven't already.
In control panel you should be able to "test" and there's a recalibrate option.
If not it can work to remove the USB plug and later reconnect, many self calibrate I think the X-45 should.

Yes, do try the SST drivers from the Saitek site, and calibrate after installation.

Just a remote chance of this... but perchance you aren't stopping the throttle handle at the upper "afterburner" detent? When new the detents were very sharp on my X45 throttle, though now they are nearly worn away.

Atomic in windows go start... program files..... look for the ubisoft folder open it as to start a game offline from that folder... go to the last window.... instead of starting the game click on set up ( or open it in the gamefolder ) click on joystick then properties and calibrate it there, then close it (Click OK) and try again, if that does not work do as they say above..

Later model X45s self-calibrate. You can't calibrate it. If it is messed up, return it.

Guys thanks for answers. I have solved the problem.

Yes. kiddknapp59 I think you are right. My X-45 is appearantly of 'new series' (although it looks like old X-45 series one exactly http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_razz.gif) because I can't find calibration screen nowhere.

And yet it is perfectly calibrated. Which, I must admit is a miracle of huge proportions when compared to my old stick (always de-centered but I have adapted to that http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif).

Glad you got it worked out.
I have two X45s, one old, one new. They look the same, but the new one self calibrates.
