Hey Guys,

Is there a way to prevent the radio chatter text that shows up on the screen? I find it rather annoying and of little use.http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_rolleyes.gif

Thanx

Copy this into your conf.ini file (make a back up first)

You'll get a pop up asking to allow overwrites. Tick the 'Yes to all'

It will cut the chatter to one line.

Wait a minute, isn't there a way to eliminate the chatter altogether??

Yes by turning NoChatter=1 to 0

The reason I like to keep one line is because I have the radio chatter disabled as well. Nothing more annoying than listening to the 'Where the hell are you' speech for the thousandth time while I'm trying to talk to a squad mate.

So the only way I have of knowing when my AI wingie sees something (amazingly good eyesight this AI), is to look for them to announce it in chat on the screen.

I find this the best compromise for coops.

If you are strictly a dogfighter then definitely go with Bearcat's solution.

Except I believe what he meant to say was:

NoSubTitles=1

That will get rid of the text altogether.

NoChatter=0 actually turns the radio chatter back on.

An excellent Config guide:

You'll need something that can open .doc files. Lots of free readers out there if you don't have one http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif
