Because of all the hub bub, supposedly Grumman is claiming rights to the likeness as well as the name . . .

Since Ubi agreed to pay Northrop-Grumman, the precedent is set. The government has the power to change laws and has made changes that basically exempt model maker (plastic, die cast, r/c) from paying royalties or licensing fees for building models of U.S. military equipment. The licensing fees still apply to non-military items and I don't think it covered computer generated models.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">
