I hope to go to the D-Day airshow at Duxford on 6 June - weather permitting. (FLying Legends in July will be too close to the birth of the first little prangerman - errr, actually woman.) I imagine quite a number of UK readers of, and contributors to, this forum will be going too. Does anyone fancy meeting up at pre-arranged point and time to put faces to names and generally be sociable? It would be fun in particular to meet some of the b*st*rds (joking) who play online at HL and are for ever shooting me down!

As a default, I would suggest a rendezvous @ the Flypast magazine hospitality marquee at 1200.

Any takers?

Cool Idea, unfortunately I wont be going, but it sounds sweet.....I can see it now reported in the Cambridge Gazzette..........

Riot at Duxford,

A fight broke out of an apparent dispute as to the turn rate of a Spitfire regarding if it was overmoddled or not hehehehehehehe http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

If you see a bearded guy in a WWII flying helmet, it wont be me as they never let me out of this nursing home. I don't go anywhere .. I don't do anything .. and I don't have any fun. Someday there'll be pretty nurses in this hospital then I'll have some fun http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/88.gif

Keep an eye on this thread http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif There are a fair number of the Marlins online squad going and they are starting to sort out arrangements. My guess would be near the USAAF museum at 10am, 11 am and 12 am

There will hopefully be a competition coming up soon on screenshotart.com to win a pair of tickets to the daytime 100 years of Rolls Royce Air and Car Show at Donington Park on the 12th of June too
