Anyone running X800 series or higher. What drivers do you like best? (4.12 - 5.5)

Just got my hands on an X850XT PE ... am running the 4.12's currently on my 9800. Searched threads and many like the 5.3 ... hows the 5.5? I'm assuming 5.2 and up are better for 800 series boards right?

Wow 850XT PE,sweet!Well I upgraded from 9800pro to X800XT PE(these things dont overclock, right guys?) a couple of months ago. After an almost continuous period of unreliability I had become very wary of updating drivers and was just using Windows Update for drivers which was months behind (on about 4.7/4.9 now!!!).Anyway last night I changed to ATI's own 5.5 and it looks very encouraging.By the way, my general tips to avoid months of unreliability:AMD NOT Intel(Prescott 478 INFERNO cpu!!!),Arctic Cooler for graphics card.Buy the very very best system you can afford cos yer gonna in two/three months anyway!!!Build your own,ok so hours of frustration likely(certain) but unbelievably educational and what other highly skilled technical work can you do with only a Phillips screwdriver...your mates will be well impressed!!!Oh yeah ...avoid 'friends of friends' who sell you what theyve got rather than what you need.
