I think the no cocpit view in FB could be inproved. Can't the no cockpit view for each plane have the cross hairs for that plane and guages of that plane? It would be cool.

That makes no sense, plus the resources are needed for more pressing issues....

Don't get into a bad habit, always fly with the cockpit on and you will eventually get better!

I'm telling you, some of this recent batch of Newbies is from Microsoft.

Smoky,

ignore the folks who think they are real fighter pilots.
You have a good i dea it seems to me, & even tho many claim the no cockpit view is not "realistic" enough most real life fighter pilots claim it's closer to the reall thing.

Please don't stop making sugggstions.
I think you are right the gunsight should be like the one from the plane you are flying in, & i don't think the "resources" or "no do ignore him pick MY idea" boys have a leg to stand on. /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

You should also post your idea in the threads about the new Battle of
Britain sim underdevelopment, it might have a better chance of being implemented in it.
Cheers

One option that I always wanted was to have the arrows pointing out planes that would be in your peripheral vision while being in the cockpit. To me, this would eliminate the rigid neck of the Il-2 pilot.

Of course, you wouldn't see an arrow for a plane behind you or below you.

The first thing that comes to my mind about changing 'something/anything' in no-cockpit view, would be to remove the arrows!

BTW, S_M_O_K_Y may really be a New User. Go easy on him/her. In that sense, welcome to the forums S_M_O_K_Y. /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif

And, yes, I think that is a 'cool' idea, but not one worth wasting valuable resources on.

EDIT: But, hey, 'you' may not think what I want worth wasting "valuable resources" on, either. /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-tongue.gif
