Radar would be fun, but maybe it is better to wait for BoB to get it...

But radar-sighted B25H would be great! It could use the bombsight module perhaps, and from the angle of the aircraft and the height of the aircraft it can calculate the range to shipping targets, and adjust the sights according to the speed that's dialled into the gauge... it wouldn't give accurate sighting over land, but that's realistic!

theres no british night flying aircraft... well theres b24 and blehiem, at a stretch.

and btw 110 with radar, 3 crew and bits and bobs will handle real bad

Ohhhhh...I thought you meant do something about the muzzle flash of the gun pods coming through the floorboard. Man!...that's some kinda bright light..either that or the floor is skinned in one-way plexiglass.

It has been repeatedly said that radar would not be modelled in IL-2. Hence the lack of the P-61, etc.

And the pilot looks like he's standing in the cockpit. You want to be able to stand up in the cockpit, is that it??

Slid back canopy and high seat position http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/11.gif

Of course, I'd like to see open canopy for all FB planes that should have it like the Spits, Hurries, P-47s, P-40E&M, LaGG, Yak etc...

the canopy on the Zersoter wasn't sliding back:

so it would be usable only on ground, wich would preety much mean wasted time... on the other hand, it is a must for some other planes. For example the early IAR-80 models did not had a jettisoning canopy, in order to bail out, the pilot had to slid back the hood, before jumping.
