Before you make such a boast about MAKS having the world's largest airshow on the Pacific Fighters main web page, check out this link http://www.airventure.org/

The E.A.A. has more fighters planes on display than MAKS has total aircraft. They really put on a great week long show in Oshkosh Wisconsin U.S.A.

From the Airventure web page-
More than 10,000 aircraft arrived at Wittman Regional Airport in Oshkosh, as well as other airports in the Oshkosh area. Total showplanes over the seven-day convention was 2,927, comprised of a record 1,267 homebuilts; 924 vintage aircraft; 386 warbirds; 196 ultralights; 130 seaplanes; and 24 rotorcraft.

Kinda hard to beat those numbers! http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_eek.gif

I went there a couple of times in the '80s with my dad. One time we flew in and camped on the field. It was awesome! I met Pappy Boyington (and had him sign his book - I still have it!) Saburo Sakai, Chuck Yeager and several other notable aviators. You can look at P-51s all day and not see the same one twice!

Oshkosh is more than an airshow; it's a pilgrimage.
