That's good stuff.. BUT..
I've heard reports from WW2 the Fiesler Storch can take off backwards, as well as fly and land backwards.. Goering must have farted for this to happen.. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif

The storch is amazing, and is the first stol craft that I'm aware of. Good that and you'll find some amazing vids... It really can land vertically, but it takes about a 16mph breeze, otherwise it takes it almost 30'!
