This is the home page of a Red Orchestra Clan. That wont be of any interest to most of you,
but they have a really good colour video of some ww2 scenes when you go to the home page. Check it out.

There are some great Docu DVDÔ┬┤s around which have color footages from WW-2 or the Korea war only. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/25.gif

I saw 2 hours of color footages from the landing on Iwo Jima in TV lately.

It belonged to a "No comment" series and had no original sound but very atmospheric music taken from "the thin red line".

Its strange to see that you dont need the obligatory speaker that describes what happens.

The footages and the faces of the soldiers speak fully for themselves.

i agree wholheartedly Celeon.

I'll act out a scene from history, and you'll have to guess just from my face and the music what it is, ok?

Thank God the Germans had a madman (Adolf) at the helm. I shutter to think what the world might look like if the Nazi leadership had focused on a sound battle strategy. If they would have left USSR alone and focused on securing the oil fields in the Middle East we might all be singing Deutschland ueber Alles.

That footage was amazing! The scene of the german shepard standing up next to the officer in the half track was awesome.
