I always loved your hybrids Superluminal. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/11.gif http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/11.gif

It was a long time you were missing in action. Glad to see you and your creations again. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/25.gif

Since you are so experienced in doing this how about you make a IAR-80 with BMW-801 engine? The one on the FW-190A. Put the 190 cowling and exhausts and maybe the two 13mm MG's like on the A8. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

The Romanians tried really hard to get for the IAR-80 this engines from the Germans during WW2, but they never succeeded.
The Luftwaffe needed every single one of them and they didn't want to let the Romanians license build them either.
I wonder how would the IAR look and how would it fly with almost double horse power. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

I tried to mix some parts I found in the game's junkyard some time ago, but the results were ...um ..... not very nice: http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/35.gif

The middle plane in American markings looks vaguely familiar.

Edit: Hehe, that plane looks like something from Crimson Skies, Jaws. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/53.gif

The top one is a mix between Do-335 nose, Pony D canopy, The bulges fron the G6 heavy mg's, Bf-109 E (I think)wings, stuka tail.

Looking at the bottom one, it reminds me of the Gloster Fury, I think it was.

Looks like a Gladiator mixed with a Spitfire canopy and a Hellcat radial.

Second one is a strange P-47N/Wildcat and I don't know what the engine is from.

Next... Hm...Some Machi/p-400 nose, P-39 canopy, the wing could be spitfire?(most likely not http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/35.gif). Pony B tail. The radiator could be machi huricanne or God knows what. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif

Last one I have no clue, but that engine would shake the plane to pieces. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/35.gif

I'd fly the second and third.

First one i think has too small wings for that monster and the last one, with that big engine and flimsy wings, I wouldn't like to be close to it when it starts. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif

There was a game out some time ago where you could design your own plane then try and fly it. It made for some interesting flights.

Anybody remember this or know of something similar?

The RAF monoplane reminds me of the P-39 with a late war ME-109 nose glued on.
