It hasn't been released in Russia yet- I check the 1C website every day for it. When it is released in Russia, the files will be sent to UBISoft, who will then require two to three weeks to Boontyize it before releasing it for the rest of the world. So like the rest of us, you will just have to be patienthttp://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_frown.gif

I am also a little worried by the lack of news about it.

To save messing around, the Burma map will be part of the 4.06 Sturmoviks over Manchuria download.

It is a free bonus and I'm not getting paid for it.

Because it would have required 4.06 anyway, it just made sense to include it rather than mess around with 2 downloads, with all the online compatibility issues that would cause.

as someone else said, they need to ruin it by 'Boontyizing it' before they release it..

1C DID release a new CD yesterday, called "Asi Podnebesya". It contains: Spitfire, Mosquito, Avro Lancaster, He-111, Ju-87B-2, Me-109, Gloster Meteor, Il-2 and La-5. However, from what I gather it is a totally separate stand-alone game and not part of the IL-2 series at all.
No news at all about the Manchuria add-on though- perhaps they are also including the CW-21B! Here's hoping.......

They have probably come to the realization that a Ki-27 with 2x7.7mm machineguns can't shoot down an I-16 in this sim like its supposed to in the early part of the war. They will likely have to make a new variant of the I-16 by changing the damage model and removing selfsealing fuel tanks and any armor. The only thing that saved the early I-16s was sheer numbers.

I dreamt last night that the addon came out and I was flying that Ki27. Can't wait, but I'll be happy whenever its released.

I hit the 1C site, but couldn't see anything on english section. A lot of games I haven't seen in EB, though...

Actually, the japanese vastly overclaimed against the russian (as they did later against the US) and by crossing russian/china archives and japanese archives, it is rather a 1 to 1 ratio.
Things got very bad after June 1941 for the Chinese, as the most experienced russian pilot had left and a new japanese navy plane appeared in number http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif
