One of my all time favourites. Never thought I'd see one fly though. Bloody brilliant. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/partyhat.gif

Is that plane ever magnificent. What a great replica. I am surprised at the size and stature of it. P.S. When (if) you download the video the watermark is eliminated. Extremely clever.

A few planes in IL2 could use that little nose-wheel cheat.

I didn't know that so few instruments were still legal. According to Federal Aviation Regulation 91.213, you need for VFR flight: airspeed indicator, altitude indicator, compass, tachometer, some engine instruments (I won't get into them here). That plane looked like it had almost nothing, unless I am wrong. (Are the regulations different in Great Britain?)
And the gunner was standing out of his plane!!! What a brave guy, I would poop my pants. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/53.gif

Looks like one, but it's a really Tiger Moth under all the window dressing. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

I love the pushers, specially this and DH.2. Pity that no sim maker ever wants to mess with early war, and everybody bets for 1917 onwards. I'd love to sit on one of these and go hunting Taube.

Video downloader extension for Firefox should do the trick.

Loved to fly the DH.2 pusher in Red Baron. After I had enough kills as an ace to go to what aerodrome I want and pick any of the aircraft available, sometimes I would take the D.H.2 well into 1917. It really wasn't as bad as the wrap it had as the "Spinning Incinerator". Then again, random but consistant engine failures weren't modelled in that game either.

Isn't this an Fe-2d?

I didn't think the 'b' had a pillar mounted Lewis.

The beardmore looked more powerful than the one on the 'b' as well.

?

Anyway, very nice video thanks.

New Zealand actually.
I believe they're under micro light regs.

For April 25/26 2009 ANZAC day memorial weekend airshow the probable flying aircraft goes something like ...

3x Se5a
Bristol Fighter
Sopwith Camel
Sopwith Tri-Plane
Be2
Fe2b (Never been seen before in public I believe)
Avro 504 (Original)

Pfaltz
Fokker Tri-Planes
Fokker DVIII

Ground Vehicles, maybe some barnstorming again (Gene de Marco puts on a fine display of ribbon cutting in his Stampe)

Ok, thanks for that. I don't know why I hadn't considered the other English speaking nations, but I'm an airhead.

Anyway, it is quite a beautiful machine!

Get Over Flanders Fields and fly some early WW1 stuff. No Taube yet but it has been asked for, maybe in Phase 4.
