View Full Version : How Ezio got to Italy

I was watching Moments in Time:The Crusades on the military channel. In 1291 Muslims attacked ACRE(sounds familiar huh?) which was a plan to drive the Templars out of the holy land. It worked and they drove the templars out. BUT after that happened everyone took trips through boats from the middle east to Italy and vice versa since they were free to do so. And the amount of money Italians made from that started the Renisceance. I think one of altairs grandsons traveled to Italy to live there and eventually Ezio was born and since he was there im sure the familys wealth grew over time and they became nobles. And im sure the Templars fled to Italy where the Crusades started.

Please speculate on what you think but all of that was mentioned in the show at the end. Check it out one time its called Moments in Times:The Crusades on the military channel.

Ya I saw that one too, I agree with it, maybe when all the templars were fleeing, the assassins sent a group to follow them and stop them if they tried to take over again

Mabye but i think some of the assassins were in a pursuit for a better life so they went to Italy where supposably it was better and had more money

EmperorxZurg

that might have brought more assassins there after the templars fled with their vast treasure, but who knows for real right?

listen money didnt increase because of the templars you have to look at what i wrote and rewatch the end of the show. It specifically said that people could now travel to italy the country gained wealth of all the people that came. Because Ezio dosent know he is a descendant of an assassins until a little bit into the game. And he is a noble which means his family came to pursuit a better life. I dont think all assassins wanted to chase the Templars considering they drove them out of the holy land which was the only reason to fight them. Its not like the assassins to chase something that you were defending against. So im sure 97% of the assassins who went to italy went to pursuit a better life.

ya but they still might have wanted to keep tabs on them ya know, ur not just going to leave em all alone so they might have sent like 2 people to watch, but all the others probably did. And I didn't real meant the Templars created the money needed, but they contributed a little, there were tons of people entering but the templars did give some money to them. But that's just my opinion from when I watched the show

Sorry i really want this to be up for discussion so i am reviving this. Oh and if i start another topic im gonna be angry if its closed because all the useless questions are floating on the front page and are not locked. Maybe the staff is growing more tolerant.

Sorry i really want this to be up for discussion

As I've told you before, threads live and die on their own merit

Currently, this thread is a discussion between two people, and two people only. Perhaps that tells you something.

Oh and if i start another topic im gonna be angry if its closed

Is that some kind of veiled threat?

all the useless questions are floating on the front page and are not locked

The difference being, they are active threads which people are participating in.

Maybe the staff is growing more tolerant.

I'll give this thread the benefit of the doubt for now. If it fails to attract interest then, just like any other, it will be locked.

This is your final warning for bumping threads.

Heres a theory,

SPOILERS ON ASSASSINS CREED ALTAIR CHRONICULES!!!!********

Altair was looking for Adha, which is pretty much all of AC Altairs chronicules...
Adha gets captured, and is sent away on A SHIP.

NOw whwere did that ship go? Italy?

If so, this could have to reasons, Altair and Adha could have...got Adha pregnaunt and could have or not have known it yet, and then she went to italy, and their is how we get to italy

Another reason is that Altair moved to italy, found Adha, then got her pregnaunt, and their we go, we have a family in Italy,

Eventually, maybe when Altair was old, or young it doesnt matter, he wrote the codex that Ezio finds, and eventually we have AC 2

Thought if you've seen the PSP trailer, it's said there that Altair's first stop was Cyprus from the holy land, to hunt down the remaining Templars. It's possible he kept hunting them from port to port, and to Italy.

The trailer for AC:Bloodlines showed that Altair went to Cyrus to hunt down the last templars.

And since they survived 'till Desmond's day, obviously he failed.

just a smale note, the crusades started in france.

and here a map where the templars where stationed with cpyrus headquater in 1300
http://upload.wikimedia.org/wi...n_in_Europa_1300.png (http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/6/6a/Templerorden_in_Europa_1300.png)

he went to Cyprus to kill all templars, but the grandmaster flew to europe. altair followed him and first step was italy and he found ada and said "**** the templars, it's ****ing nice here,i spent my life here with my wife, should my descendants hunt the templars, but i will leave a message in the pice of eden for them" So he did, but before he could tell his son everything he died of a heartattack in the age of 27. His wife has no idea Altair beeing an Assasine, she just love his arabic accend. The widow lost the piece of eden in toscana. In 1487 the great man of all time Leonardo da Vinci found the piece of eden, manage to open it and after researches he realize, Ezio is a descandet of Altair"

That's how it is, tell you!

Remember there were assassin's other than Altair remaining. He probably asked Malik to become the new master(Because Malik would probably be who he trusted most.) Assuming this, he most likely would leave the piece of eden with Malik in Masyal. Then Altair left to hunt the remaining Templars. Starting in Cyprus, he probably went through a few other cities before ending somewhere in Italy. Finds Adha in Italy (or maybe gets over her and finds another woman), starts a family, but not all of his kids (if any) become assassins. Those decendants go off, oblivious to their lineage, to live their own lives. One goes into business and is very successful. That begins a family line of nobles that continues until Ezio's story begins.

Maybe the devs could release Ezio's family tree (possibly as unlockable or pre-order material). Then we would be able to see how he is related to Altair and how his family came to be in Italy.

It would be interesting if altair became a templar and Ezio ended up having to assassinate him... That would be interesting, cuz in the end of AC1, all we see is that Altair cant destroy the orb. So what if it possessed him and he became a templar?

EmperorxZurg
07-23-2009, 05:10 PM
But it would sorta be hard for Ezio to do that since they are 200 years apart in existance

>_> Well, I would only assume the assassins eventually moved considering that, historically speaking, the Mongols took Masyaf in the 1260.

Though my friend DreamerM read some book where they said the hashashin gave strange explanations for surrender at the time like running out of clean laundry...

D: I say massive cover-up!

Either that or life without assassin bleach is really terrible.
