Hi
remembered a film i saw long time ago (>20yrs)cant remember its name?.. it seemed to feature the US on one side and the Japanese on the other of a clearing in a jungle. film centered around this patch of ground with maybe something NB in the middle any ideas? have read a lot of pacific war book recently maybe based on New Guinea or the Canal?? Buna Gona? its buggin me

Was it like a small group of Americans and a small group of Japanese? I seem to remember seeing something like this a while back on TV...

Gee, this is a description of at least 50 Pacific war films.

I think it was Objective, Burma with Errol Flyn, a pretty good no-nonsense ww2 movie. The scene you mention is near the end.

Nuh-uh! I only know of 49 Pacific war films that have scenes like this.
