Pat me on the back! I graduated 2 of my 5 children this weekend and despite their efforts at making me feel old and guilty that they won't be around much anymore, I am absolutely thrilled!

When they said I would miss them when they leave...my response grounded them quickly and decisively. I said: "You've been dragging us down for 18 years...we used to be cool and now we can be again...write often"

Of course it was tongue-in-cheek and I'm proud of them both, but it really was funny...if at their expense.

Just saying...

Yea, I have graduated 2 out of 3 so far. The 2nd one just this past Monday evening. Only trouble is, she will be with me until she gets done with college, and get this, she wants to stay here. I'll give her this, she isn't stupid. She knows being out on your own isn't all it's cut out to be.

Boy I'm way behind. Assuming I find a woman who thinks I'm worthy relatively soon, I'll be around sixty before my child would graduate!

I'd better try looking I guess.
