View Full Version : So I sunk a C3 in shallow water . . . . (funny pic)

Two torps crippled, the third to finish (I am on the way back, didn't see much action this patrol).

Anyway, the pics speak for themselves. The first one is really really cool and the second one made me cry because it's been a while (and two sinkings) since I last saved.

Because this was the only screenshot I got before it crashed, I didn't show that the two halves of the C3 were at rest on the bottom and had been there for at least 15 minutes of game time when I decided to sail through them. The bottom was littered with other debris. As a new player I am now even more hooked than I was before I saw this, but the crash pissed me off too much to be playing anymore tonight.

Nice shot!

And a pretty nice wallpaper on that second screen. Where did you find it ? http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-tongue.gif

You know i never have crashes and can flick to desktop and back and the game still keeps running.

Are you running any programs in the background, these can cause conflicts and crash games out. Press Ctrl Alt and Delete and shut down anything that is unnecessary. I hope this helps you, it is possible to have crash free SH3.

Nice pictures by the way (and cool desktop pic)

I think the reason it crashed was it had to change resolutions, I have an LCD that is 1280x1024 native so I try to keep everything at that setting, but SHIII is stuck lower. This is the first time it has crashed though.

Desktop pic I found a while ago on a forums, probably not there anymore but if you guys want it you can email me. fshavlak@gmail.com
