http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gifSorry if this has been asked before. I noticed when intalling the sim that the video option called "synchronize" was unchecked by default. Can anyone give me a clear idea what this option does, or what benefit it might provide?

System:
AMD 2800+ 333fsb
ati x800 256
1 gig ddr
SB audigy 2

I think thats the v-sync.

Its syncs your framerate to your monitor refresh rate to avoid "tearing" when your frames exceed the refresh rate.
