i just installed splinter cell for the pc and when i try to start it this messge comes up: General protection fault!

Download and install direct X 9 and get the latest Video Drivers you be cool..

Please don't talk about those cracks here because they are illegial. If you want to talk of such stuff, go somewhere else. Most of the GPFs occur because ppl have inadequate drivers or improper hardware. The drivers are the most important thing, and upgrading them fixes 96% of the problems. Other problems have to do with unsupported hardware or a virus eating at your system.

Talk of illegal activity is against the forum rules. If you want to persist in this endeavor, you will be banned from the ubi forums completely. This is your one and only warning. 2 of the members in this thread have already been banned, so I would suggest to the rest of you that you cease this conversation/ request immediately.

I have helped over here quite a bit in the past, and most of the gpf errors are due to old drivers, and poor installation of those drivers.
