I thought, that both versions are released very close to each other because of one advertising campaign, but Xbox 360 is out and left only two weeks to PC version... But we still didn't get anything! Trailer, gameplay, video, image, nothing, only some small text info and HW specs.

Two weeks before release games used to be fully prepared, burned onto DVD-ROMs and packed for customers... So developers have time to prepare something cool for us...

OR

Game is for PC delayed again and we will read about it on Monday... http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_cool.gif

That's because it's the same game, same everything. What you saw in the xbox360 show is what we will get in the PC version. No point in advertising twice. What we will probably get is hands on reviews of the pc version a week or so from now. Doubt there will be a delay.

No, no, no, no, no... There is one major thing... Graphics... During whole campaign (except E3) we were getting only 720p trailers rendered with low-res 540p textures... So I was very happy, when they announced 2560x1440 HD textures for PC...

I want see them... http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_cool.gif

I am beginning to think conviction will be delayed on pc again too. Usually by this time you would be able to pre-purchase a game off of steam.

I would be quite surprised if it came out on the 27th.

Not 2560x1440 texture mate, thats the maximum game resolution. For the display. The textures will be the same quality as the 360's, just with more filtering (if your computer can handle it).

Didn't Steam drop the new UBI titles. Something 'not to do with DRM' I think I read it on Bit-Tech.net

Maybe textures aren't so high, but if in PC version will be similar textures like in Xbox... http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_eek.gif OhMG, we are in 2010, not 2004... I saw very good renders on PC's during work in BCD videos... So I think it must be better... PC version can use full size of DVD9, not only 7GB...

And I heard from our local PC distributor, that PC game is now in burning progress, so 30th is 100% final date by them...

I still can play chaos theory fluently by that laptop but Double Agent start to be a bit not so fluent.

But I heard that the system requirement of SCC is lower than the Double Agent.
Especially on CPU, the SCC recommended requirement of CPU speed is only 2.4 GHZ, minimum is 1.8 GHZ

So SCC can take care the players who only have laptops or basic computers.

9500 GT, pretty good card, don't need the best.
6 GB of Ram
Quad core, 2.33 GHZ

Love this PC!

SC:C is coming on the 27th!

I pre-ordered mine, unfortunately, I rejected the free gift...and codes... http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/sadeyes.gif

textures are square, and i didnt read about HD textures (a loose term), but if the game supports ultra-resolution textures the highest they should go is 4096x4096.

SC DA PC had nice textures so i imagine they will look very good on PC.
