If you've been wanting to better organize your desktop to accommodate your flight-sim habit and the limiting factor has been space and/or lack of funding look here: http://www.airwarfare.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=183

I posted this in the "Community help" forum, but thougth it would get more exposure here.

Take a minute and look at all the info as well as the other threads.

Email or PM me if interested. I'm not looking to get much (if anything) for it, but want it to get used.

yes, while I am still thinking about building a "complete solution", I am also considering this, seem to be more mutli-purpose and mother-friendly / wife-friendly http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Just checked the website..... the price seem to be not quite right, if I buy everything it will be around US$500, plus shipping.... with this money I can hire someone to purpose-build something for me....

Precisely. I looked at his prices, gaped, then went on my way as I realized his most bisic unit costs more than my chair...

Typo: delete "bisic" in favor of basic.
Thank you.

THAT"S MY POINT GUYS!!!

Let me say this again *sigh*

I'm NOT trying to sell this guys' website or his stuff. I already have more stuff than his highest-end system, but don't use it anymore. I linked his site so you could read about it as his explanation is likely more detailed and better explains the nature of the goods. Soooooo, if you think there is a chance you can use it and put it to good use...just let me know...mmmkay?

I'm just trying to be nice without saying "Here's some free sh1te!" and having some half-interested jamoche take it off my hands and try to sell it on Ebay.

Tbolt,

How rigid are those platforms. When i looked at them before, it just seemed to me like they would move if you applied too much pressure.

Well, they have a "dual locking nut" on the bottom of each platform and are quite rigid when setup properly, however, I have one buddy who wasn't happy when trying to use his Cougar. They worked fine for my CH rig though.
