Are there any resources or guides on how to fly Realistic Navigation mode in the sim.
I am doing a Dgen campaign and would like to try it that way. The way it is I am going to try and capture and print out the map screen in the mission brief but beyond that I am figuring it out as I go. Wondering about how those that fly that way are doing it.
Also noticed that asking the tower for a vector back to runway is turned off in this mode as well or did I do something wrong? I can still communicate with tower when requesting landing clearance so I know the tower will respond, to that at least.

Scroll down till you have "navigation training"

Check your conf.ini for the following lines and set them to 0 if needed.

[game]
NoSubTitles=0
NoChatter=0

See if that works.

Why shouldn't you be able to get a vector from the tower? They did have radio direction finders and you do have a radio.

As for the tower responding, it is now. Must have missed it amongst all the other chatter going on at the time.
