I guess theoretically this review should go in the review thread but bear in mind it is more for a joke than actual review. this makes me laf

I'm fairly confident this guy didn't really play the game for very long..
anyway this post isn't meant to offend Christians, just their review sites and I also wanted to know if people have seen reviews like this before. personally i googled "christian review assassin's creed" just for kicks

At least this idiot gave me a good laugh...

"and I don't feel that your House Hold can show good Christian Values if you condone a game like Assassin's Creed."

Lol, what can you say?

Some religious nut-job.

On one hand.....the guy has every right to his opinion. Indeed one could make the argument that violent games are not Christian and therefore decide not to buy. He doesnt need to play to have an opinion.

On the other hand the guy is totally hypocritical. So Assassins Creed is bad but other games have "excuses" that make them OK??

Where is the difference?

Also as a Christian myself I know that the "Christian Leaders" of that time in that place were often amongst the most evil guys on the planet at the time. I feel he is unaware of that.

Well, I believe he's not entitled to an opinion without actually playing the game. Also, he's saying that you cannot be a good Christian if you condone AC. This is decidedly more than an opinion. He's moralizing, telling others what makes a good Christian. That is offensive to me.

I mean I'm a religious person...a Maronite Catholic Christian, but seriously playing video games like AC doesn't make me any less holy, it's not like I'm killing real people and whatnot..

Lol, well I don't know about your being a holy man stix, but I quite agree with you nonetheless.

I dont see why you need to play a game to have an opinion on it....you can easily find out what you need to know without playing it.

For example he had a prob with the killing of "Christian Leaders" you dont need to play the game to know if that is personally acceptable for you or not.

Have you played the game? If so, you might find that your view on this could change throughout the game. I'm not saying it will, but perhaps. Anyway, my point still stands. You cannot possibly come up with any sort of "review" of a game you haven't played.

Who cares if people give the game bad reviews. I love it, and that is all that matters. Reviewers are just regular people like you and me, except they have the power to spread their review across the internet because they have their own websites for that. We could all be reviews too...

Well, the point was not that some guy gave the game a bad review, far from it. Please re-read this thread.

Well I am a Baptist and I honestly think its a very good game.. A lot of good morals to it.. They didn't have to put down the religeons and such but its their story.. iv beaten the game twice now going on my third.. and the christian templars you kill were using christianity as a shield for their actions i think very corrupt indeed.. The game doesn't shake my beliefs at all so..
