Maybe a usless thread and maybe not!

If we list some of the features we would most like to have included in the game, update, expansion, editor or mod, then we might get it.

I would want single player capaighn to include sudden and long deph charge attacks on harder levels.

You know the 6+ hours in real time with lots of crew managment decisions and repairs to keep us busy. The sort of stuff that makes a great after action reprt to post on forums and fan sites. Obviously I think this should be included in final version but if not I am hoping the editior or an expansion would include more repair options and crew management aspects. I remeber the game called the THING (not a good game) anyway the team had a scared meter, maybe that would be good in this game (the more scared they get the more useless the team becomes)Imagine trying to evade an attack whilst constantly running to crew memebers to calm them down or give them final orders or court marshalls.

To me this game should not be just about sinking ships and watching the eye candy though it is good, but rather a sum management simulator.

WHAT WOULD YOU LIKE http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/25.gif

Whatever we can do in real life with Uboats I want to be implemented into SHIII. The more it can be realistic with physics, features, and graphics the better because there will be more eyecandy to look at plus less boardum because we can do more with a sub than before.

I'd like to see the engine room, the realistic effects in depthcharge attacks (pipes and lightbulbs breaking, etc.., and if the sub is taking on water, to be able to see the actual water level rising or decreasing after it is fixed.

Also something I noticed from the videos is that the periscope crosshair looks like a sniper scope, and from what I've seen, they only have one vertical line and some horizontal lines at the top, that don't bisect the vertical line.

Something else is when a ship blows up, I would like to see pieces flying away and splashing in the water, Ex: http://www.uboatarchive.net/208592.htm

Would also like to be able to have the hatches inside the sub open or closed, depending on the situation.

The last things, and probably the most important, are a training or a manual that shows you how to use the TDC manually so it is more realistic. And charts that show info on the sea, like depth, thermal layers, etc...

What would I like? All the things the DevTeam left out due to their morals. Plus the other things they left out.(FIDO torps, Allied subs, all the other u-boat types, etc)

Court marshals at sea during a depth charge attack? Yea, right!

Pipes already do burst, and so far lights do flicker, haven't see any burst yet, but that doesn't mean they won't. But that would be great if they did.

What happened to the previous 3 words of the quote? When you quote someone, PLEASE refrain removing some of the key words! At least you didn't add or change the words like others have been doing lately!

I was trying to be helpful, not confrontational. It's kind of hard to have a still shot of lights flickering on and off,and you didn't say you hadn't seen flickering lights, just pipes bursting. I cut it to include only what I COULD show.

Only you would bite somebody who's trying to help you.

Then you should have put the first 4 words into the quote. Perhaps everything with the part colored you were replying to.

I know you weren't being confrontational, and neither was I. But it seems that "Only you would bite somebody who's trying to help you" is starting to get there.

Hopefully, this is just a misunderstanding, on BOTH of our parts.

Well, I'm glad to apologize for being snippy, but it just seems to me like the only time for pointing out a misquote is when the dropped part is the most important part. You said that those words were a key part, but they were irrelevant to the point of not yet having seen pipes burst. People drop parts of my quotes all the time, and it never bothered me. I didn't think anyone would feel differently.
