View Full Version : Is it just me or are Macchi 202/205 engines a bit duff?

Haven't tested this with the C200 but with the C202/C205 the engine seems mighty frial.
The Macchi engines goes duff really quickly when hit. Going after bombers is tantamount to suicide.

Here's the important part i want you to read carefully.

I don't ever remember the Me109 engines being this fragile.

You hit any engine in the right spot, it goes dud. Look at the Mustang.

I thought the Macchis were suppose to be good turners as well. It reminds me of the stallstang. Ofco**** I have no facts to back this up just going by what I heard and read numerous times. I think Oleg should investigate the Italian birds a little more.

when we first got cr42 it would snap stall into a flat spin very easily

about 75% of those flatspins proved terminal.

i think they rushed out this patch, alot of dodgy stuff http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-sad.gif
