The San Diego Aerospace Museum's flight simulator art contest has 20 finalists and 5 of them are from IL2FB/AEP! Not a bad showing, maybe we'd have done better if PF had come out sooner. Check it out here: http://www.barnstorming.com/contest.php

http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gifMakes you realise how "personal" choices are,i looked at some of the other candidates and thought "thats better than the ones in the final" but thats the beauty of anything artwise,it's all in the eye of the beholder. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/25.gif
I may have a crack at it next time round http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

There are 10 unedited screenshots and 10 edited screenshots in the finals. All can be considered art. They don't use the traditional tools and media as a painter, but the fundamental rules of composition, color, etc., are the same. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

3 of our screenshotart.com members made the final cut--out of 2000+ entries. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_cool.gif

I really wonder, why this one didn't make it into the final, let alone winning it

That one, among others I thought deserved to be in the finals. I know that art is subjective but some of those shots that didn't make the final cut were indeed impressive no matter who you are.

I'd say that a majority of the pieces found in our own "High resolution screens" started by Rogodin would beat the h*** pur of a lot of them.http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
