Say this at Subsim, probably the best one I've seen yet. <span class="ev_code_RED">CAUTION</span> , keep your volume down for the first 30-40 seconds, because music will start then, and it's loud. One because it scared me to death with my headphones on, and 2 , wouldn't want your speakers ruined if you turn up the volume.

Enjoy (http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-7435883715193818266&q=Sabaton)<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

Now that was cool. I like the footage they used from real U-boats, and was that Das boot at some parts? It's been a while since I seen the movie....<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

If you liked the music, do a net search on "Sabaton Wolfpack", and you will find sites that have the lyrics, and others that will sell you the album.

That's a cool video. My SH3 gramophone will never be the same again! http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/35.gif

I looked up Sabaton as I never heard of them before. By the looks of it they sing songs about war. I'm not into heavy metal, but the Wolfpack song is ok. I looked up the lyrics. Here is a snippet:

To their own shore came the world war
Gleaves and the Ingham
leading the Bury west

What is Gleaves, Ingham, and the Bury west? Here's the whole lyrics for those interested:

My impression was that they were ship names; ....the Gleaves and Ingham being (ineffective)escorts.

I could be wrong.

I did a little research:

The "USS Gleaves" was a US destroyer.

The "Samual D. Ingham" was a USCG Cutter that served on the North Atlantic routes in 1942-1943.

The name "Bury" is probably short usage for any number of Allied Escorts who's name ends in "Bury". (Salisbury, Amesbury, Hawkesbury, ect.)

I find it funny how many complement the music more than the video.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">
