Gaming ...notebook....!?!?!?

Does. Not. Compute. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

I hope you're not planning on hauling that monster around much. Its gonna weigh a ton.

And only 1 year warranty coverage? Danger, Will Robinson! Danger!

I might be going blind but I can't see a price there..?

I go with the other posters; from wait & see what BoB demands (and will your choice even reach level-entry?) to "Gaming ...notebook....!?!?!?"

Depending on how much you have to spend ... you could save a substantial amount by building it yourself. I noticed that you'd looked at a desktop rig, so maybe your laptop stance has relaxed a bit?

My guess is that any reasonable 939-pin processor and mobo, plus a box, a psu, some kind of x800 or over gfx and a good h/d will see entry level to BoB. I forgot the DVD-rom and the monitor...but even so. The barebones flight-box (still with browsing & such features) wouldn't set you back so much - and it would be expandable. Like, you buy a 3500+AMD64 or whatever you can afford now and shift onto a big DC later, when the newer platforms come out and the prices come down. Likewise gfx and all the rest. Also you learn a new skill.

Laptops are a blind alley, BoB-wise.
