Well, I can't say anything about it, because it's in another language, but I'm guessing either they tried it before at an convention or something, or is they're only judging it on what has been revealed and said. Either way, I wouldn't trust this review. Wait till the actual game comes out, they're gonna regret giving it a 6!

The English is not understandable,so i'll rap it up for everyone.

Ok guys, here's the deal:

The gaming magazine Level's Turkey branch, just reviewed the game yesterday on their site.and gave it a 6.0. The review is extremely farfetched and completely irrelevant in my opinion. None of the essential gameplay elements were mentioned and the game was compared to GTA 3(which was also considered as a pre-historic game with boring gameplay and storyline).

Ubisoft's Gabriel Graziani, had tweeted on the matter:

"Initially, it appears that this is not a legitimate review... I am checking to see if review code went out to this site."

The review is not even up on major sites like IGN and Gamespot. The review on the afore-mentioned site is obviosuly biased and it violates the game review date limitations.

Here are some parts, translated ofcourse, from the review:

1. The graphics have taken a step back from the previous game. Textures, character animations and other visual elements are even worse then Assassin's Creed 1. Frame-rate and clipping issues are everywhere. Anyone who would play this game first, the previous one later can admit that AC1 had better visuals then it's successor.

2. If Assassin's Creed 2 would came out as GTA3: Italy Adventures, no one would understand the difference. Actually, GTA 3 was considered as a decent game back in the time although now it is quite pre-historic and bumpy. Assassin's Creed 2 is even worst then GTA3.

3. If you enjoy some Italian weather and boring missions/storyline like GTA3, give AC2 a shot. The rest of us can wait for the next big thing on the horizon.
Well here's the funny part. Another Turkish magazine called Oyungezer(GameRider), gave it a solid 9.6/10. The November issue of GR will come out later this week, but they wrote a letter to Level and openly criticized their review techniques. The Level review was obviously rushed for rivalry reasons, but come-on...

Oh yeah, the same person who wrote AC2 reviev on Level gave GTA4 7/10, because supposedly it lacked what San Andreas had: Stunt jumps and collectable items.

Well a few months ago, again "the same person who wrote AC2 review", wrote another review of Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood. There was a little problem unfortunately. The review was talking about Billy, how he ran away from his parents murdered bodies and how his uncle Ray chased him through the Wild West.

Correct me if i'm wrong, isn't that the first game? :P

There is a big probability that they havent' played the game. They might have wrote it by watching the E3 Ubisoft Press Conference live demo over and over again. But that's just me.

by the sound of some of the problems there (not seen in the newer versions) they have done the review from the very early video's of the game that are all done with a version of the game that is unfinished, a lot of the newer stuff looks a lot better than the early stuff and chances are even these latest video's aren't taken from the gold version of the game.

I'm a Turk. So I know Turkish and I'm reading both magazines that Oyungezer and Level. Oyungezer is a magazine that made by people who quited from Level. And this month, they announcent that they made a interview of AC2. Few hours later, Level made this interview. It's obvious that they made this interview so no one will buy Oyungezer to read it. And again it is obvious that it was really bad. I mean, I don't think that they even played the game. And so many people read that interview, won't buy the game. Because they trust Level. Oyungezer wrote a "open letter" to Level. And putted in their website. I heard this conversation from there. And I see that unprofessinoal move of Level had effected Ubisoft too. And I feel very ashamed for my country. It is a big mistake for Level. And I want to apologize for my country, Level magazine of my country and its big mistake.

Note: My English is not quite good. So I'm apoligizing for my mistakes too.

I'm Armenian and incase you're unaware this is actually par for the course for Turkey.

IE: Lie about something that everyone else agrees about. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_rolleyes.gif

This is kind of funny though.... the review, not the genocide.

Congrats on the off-topic political discussion. It's exactly how would you act if you've been taught to look from the same perspective since you were 2 years old, not just because of unintentional ignorance there. You're respected anyways from this Turk here http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif.

Anyways on the main and the other biased topic, if you knew Turkish, the review is hilarious, most probably because it looks like an essay from a 10 year old. Full of stereotype similes and even the paragraph arrangement is unorganized. It has also some extremely obscure points, and is unsurprisingly biased because it was written just for the sake of having the competition ran with the other magazine.

EDIT: And yes I'm a ****** for creating an account just for this post.

Well I HAD to say something, it was too perfect of a comparison to pass up.

Thanks for not defending what happened 94 years ago and respect to you as well.

Now I'm off to run this thing through Google translate for some ****s and giggles.

That's your first post? Really?

We already settled this but you dredged it up to complain about it in broken English?

well im glad i have a mind of my own which allows for free thinking. im not going to let an article in a magazine decide how i feel about a video game. especially this one. If i was a turk i would rent or buy the game and try it for myself instead of listening to some second rate magazine ive never heard of. sorry if i bashed any turks. thats just my opinion.
