Hello IL-2:FB and Pacific Fighters Fans,

It is my pleasure to announce that long-time member of the Pacific Fighters flight-sim community and PF 3rd Party Dev. Team member Jason €œBurnin€ Williams has agreed to take a position here at NaturalPoint as our Director of Marketing. Jason brings a unique perspective to our team as we continue to expand to other corners of the PC Gaming universe. NaturalPoint pledges to continue bringing TrackIR 3 with Vector support to future Oleg Maddox flight-sims.

In 2004, TrackIR 3" with Vector Expansion" became a must-have for IL2/PF fans and I would like to thank all those Pacific Fighters fans who lobbied Oleg to support 6DOF. Although, 6DOF is not going to happen in PF, Oleg has stated that his BOB project will support it. We here at NaturalPoint very much appreciate his supporting the concept of 6DOF in the future.

2005 is shaping up to be a very exciting time for PC Gamers and the simulation community is no exception. We plan on having TrackIR 3 with Vector Expansion support in many new unreleased titles including Oleg€s BOB and in upcoming versions of LOMAC. I want to wish Oleg and crew and Ilya Schevchenko all the best with their pending add-ons for IL2/PF and of course Battle of Britain!

NaturalPoint has always been interested to hear from our supporters and we hope that you will continue to let us know what your likes and dislikes are. We greatly appreciate your feedback and NaturalPoint would not be where it is today without the support of the IL2/PF community. Thank you ALL for your support.

Best Wishes,

Jim Richardson

Wow, thanks for the news and kind words. Congrats to Burnin http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Despite the (sometimes http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif) heated debate here in the forums from the fans of the Vector Expansion and their passionate lobbying for it to be implemented inthe Il-2 series, it's nice to see that the people most involved, you and Oleg see the big picture and are on OK terms. It should set a good example for the rest of us.

http://www.trackir.com

This is great news! Im glad to hear Eagle Dynamics/FLYING LEDGENDS is up to the challenge of adding in 6DOF.. Even though their sim LOMAC.. Like IL2 didnt initally support it.. Never thought I would see the day that they could do something that 1C couldnt do.. But maybe it has something to do with 1C's envolement with the LOMAC addon? LOMAC is the best modern (jet) sim made in the past 10 years.. And IL2-PF is the best WWII sim made in the past 10 years.. Im just glad one of them will enable 6DOF! As for the simple minds that felt the need to put down you post.. Dont take it to hard.. They moc what they dont understand.

i love naturalpoint. outside of the gay smile they make that poor gamer wear during the other-wise awesome videos they post, they strike me as a really genuinely good company that doesnt overcharge for their unique technology offerings.

Congrats on the shout-out by PCGamer in their recent Flight-sim editorial. and thanks for thinking to support this community by hiring from our group and for proudly announcing it (so we dont all call him a liar when he tells us)

I wish u good luck and will continue to recommend to others. your a good brand.

and my day job is concept advertising for Toyota (Saatchi & Saatchi) - if it adds anything to it for ya.
