I was pretty excited when I got my TRackIR 3 Pro today. The manual said to check for updated software before using the installation CD so I did. I downloaded and installed the newest version of the TRackIR software and pluged in the device. Everything worked great untill I started Pacific Fighters. my game control inputs have a 3 second lag which makes it unflyable. But I have had this problem before using 2 gameing devices on the same USB port so I changed things around so that my X-45 and my TrackIR are installed on seperate ports. This didnt fix the problem at all.
Me and a friend of mine installed a new TrackIR 4 onto his computer about a week ago and his works fine. Is this just a TRackIR3 problem?
I cant tell you how dissapointed I am to have spend a lot of money for something that I cant even use. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-sad.gif

I have both TrackIR 2 and TrackIR 3 Pro, and both work perfectly with FB/PF... and GT Legends too. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif
I found this thread in the Naturalpoint support forum, but after scanning quickly through it I did not see a solution.

I'm running the latest software as well. Hope you figure your trouble out.

Hey Deadly, just so you know you aren't alone, sort of. I have TR 3 and downloaded the latest TR 4 upgrade too, and at first had a lot of stickiness, if you know what I mean. But that could have been related to the new Nvidia 82.12 drivers I was using??? (What I don't know about computers would fill Issac Newton's, Albert Einstein's, and Stephen Hawkins' brains!) I'm now using the 81.98 drivers, and no stickiness, but I have to click on the TR Icon 3 separate times before it will start, and I have it set for "Run on Startup." I'll post on the support site too.

Okay, so you are alone after all, Deadly. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif I just went to the NP support site, and my problem was listed in one of the sticky threads. Problem solved--I hope you get yours fixed too. Good luck.

Saunders1953,

I fixed my problem tonight. My system only has 2 onboard USB ports. So, I went to my local Wal-Mart and bought a new 4 port USB2 PCI card and installed it. I now run my network and printer off of the 2 onboard ports and all game devices (X-45 and TrackIR and Force Feed back head set) on the new 4 port card. Everything works perfect and smooth. Im a very happy camper now.

Thanks for your help! http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_cool.gif
