Oleg, will you release the patch so people like me with 56K can download better? Break it down for those of us who have to download for 2 days for a 200MB file. Please consider it.

i think the last thing we need is to make the patch downloads more confusing. Have a friend with broadband download and burn it for you.

I feel your pain, I'm a 56k'er too. See if you can use a program like GetRight if you can, or like R_Mutt says, see if you can get a friend with a fast connection, or even download it from a school with a fast connection, then burn it to CD. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

I always just figure if the patch is huge, then there's a lot of good improvements to the sim, and you'll get it eventually.

Get " get right " its a download program that resumes after you stop. you can do it overnite and if you lose connection you can resume from where it stopped. The dialup savior!!!!!

I already have what we call a broadband connection around here. I dont even know anyone with a broadband connection. I cant go to a school to download a game patch. Plus I graduated over 11 years ago. Oh well just thought it would be better for us 56K guys to be able to download portions of it at a time and not have to be online overnite and tie up the phone. you know just incase someone was trying to get through in an emergency. oh well.. no harm in asking i guess http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/35.gif http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/34.gif http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/51.gif

Do you have a public library? Might want to check to see if they have work stations that you can borrow.
