Probably a divorce...

We're sick bastids........If we had the money I think all of us would turn this hobby from a passion to an obsession. I know I'd have a full cockpit and delux monitor.....etc et al.

Why do I have to always sign in to UBI forums when all my other names and passwords stay saved in other forums?

You shouldnt have too, mine stays logged in always.

I never have to log in ever.

Maybe its something in your control panel settings, look through them

Or maybe windows isnt allowing a cookie from this page?

Maybe the cookie got corrupted?

Try deleting all your cookies from >tools>internet options at the top of the page in settings. Then you may get an option to create one next time you log in.

Yeah, I wish I could afford either one or both of those.

(Yes, starting recently, I have had to log in to make EVERY SINGLE POST! It's getting quite old.)

I don't have a machine at home, or work that can keep me logged into this site anymore. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-mad.gif

Yea I believe if we all had the money, we would all have a real cockpit loaded down with computer hardware and a screen like that to sit in front of. Just think of adding an upper row of LCD's. They make those too.

Wierdest ad I've ever seen. There are no prices, no link to buy it that I can find? What's the point of advertising something that there is no way to buy? Is it a hoax?

I want one anyway.

Kinda blows the Logitech/Saitek/CH/FF2 arguments out of the window http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Thanks for the responses concerning logging in.

I never realized the manufacturer is 'L'. (I was dazzled by the monitor like a monkey is distracted by a shiny button.)

They were at one time making high end compter systems 'supposedly better' than any one else like Falcon or Alienware.

Maximum PC seemed very interested in them and liked the specs that 'L' was claiming to be able to reach.

According to Max PC the company was producing VAPORWARE. MAX PC's Jan 04 cover was extolling 'L' but after no responses from 'L' to provide an evaluation computer they got suspicious. They even asked in a column if anyone who owned an 'L' computer would write in to give their impressions of the computer. No one responded.

Sure the monitor looks good..... but I doubt they exist.

TRACKIR has eliminated the need for monitors like this. For a 3rd of the price, i could use trackir a big single monitor with less power consumption and smaller gear footprint and have the same or better immersion.

Track IR sux. Talk about a waste of money.

The dang TrIRIV wont stay attached to the bill of my cap.....and the reflector didn't come with adhesive tape to attach to the monitor. (I have CRT not LCD)

So when I want to look around its with very small movements, (or else TrIR disengages from my cap) and that causes headaches, and neck problems.

There's got to be a better way to use Track IR. The folks at Natural Point have been useless.

I'll take a huge monitor footprint with high emissions of heat, and exorbitant electric bill anyday.

If your parents are paying for it, sure... why not?

knyteflyte,

you sound like the typical trak-IR user during the first hour of usage.

give it a week. then come back to even try to complain.

Hey that's a novel idea......attaching the TIR to your hat and putting the reflector on the monitor http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/clap.gif

I know you're joking.....(or you're the dumbest TIR user I've ever heard of). http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/35.gif http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/11.gif
