Just one quick question.

How good is this gane il-2 compare to other games let say Aces High 2?

What future have the game let say realistic flying and graphics. And whats the range of freedom in the game?

Though sounding like a copout, really for the $20 you can purchase the entire series on DVD for, it's one of those things you should simply just buy and risk losing the money.....I say that with absolute confidence in that you will find it far superior and well worth 10X+ that amount....

Not sure what you mean by "range of freedom"....Yet am sure you'll find it very accomodating from novice to expert as far as settings......

No comparison.. the only thing AH has over this sim is it's MMPG capabilities... but this sim can hold it's own online. If you are still on the fence then this is what you are in for (http://forums.ubi.com/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/26310365/m/4591089933/r/4591089933#4591089933) if you decide to get IL1 1946.. which is the only part of the series you should consider. Do not get the Complete Edition, Pacific Fighters, FB GOLD or anything else but 46 in the box you see linked.

Asa for graphics.... this sim has the best graphics of any WWII flight sim on the market. There are some that look good.... but this one is in my opinion the best... I also think the flying in this sim is top notch. Hit the Nugget's Guide in my sig and as for graphics.. well look at some of the screens on this page (http://forum.1cpublishing.eu/viewtopic.php?t=106) at the 1C forum. Bear in mind that the first few screenshots on that page are from the Storm of War:Battle of Britain sim to be released from 1C at some undisclosed point in the future... a few are from CFS.. but the majority are from this sim.

This is hands down the best WWII flight sim to date. There are some sims that do some things better... but there is no sim that does all the things this one does.. as well as this one does.

You need to wait for someone that knows AH2 and IL2.

Future? No mods, one patch to go and it stays that way, IMO finally finished form.

The real future is in the upcoming Storm of War series. More detailed, the models will have
detailed weight distribution in them we have been told for example of one small difference.

Realism? As of now engine DM's run up to 20 3D pieces just for engine, each destroyable with
individual effects and yet people screaming 'porked' over "glass engines".

Let's see if this is familiar: Spitfires are "overmodeled" yet newbs still lose in them.

Boone's Farm is to Aces High as Chateau Mouton Rothschild is to Il-2.

A Slingshot is to Aces High as the Tsar Bomba Nuclear Device is to Il-2.

Is that clear enough?

Yeah, like were else are you gonna find a realistic model of a Lurche to fly. It has at least 1000 damage modelings all for the wing. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/59.gif
