The P-47D (late) was added during one of the patches (4.XX) to go along with the P-47D-10, P-47D-22 & P-47D-27 already in the game.

I would like to know what "block" number or version that this P-47D is supposed to represent. I see also that the P-47D-27 gives us rocket tubes, triple-tube M-8 4.5 inch (115 mm) rocket launchers, and eventually HVARs, but one reference I just read has the P-40D-40 as having the rocket tubes initiated and ten HVAR's at that.

I am not stating that the below information is fact. I would like to know what is fact and what is fiction with the below information. Thanks in advance.

P-47D-10
Curtiss 12' 2" Propeller, Razor Back

P-47D-22
Long Island Plant Hamilton Standard 13' 17/8" Propeller, Razor Back

Evansville Plant Curtiss 13' Propeller, Razor Back

P-47D-25
Increased Internal Fuel Capacity to 370 gallons and added "Bubble Canopy"

P-47D-27
Increased fuel capacity, Dive Recovery Flaps

P-47D-40
Dorsal fin extension added for yaw stability (retrofitted to previous bubble canopy aircraft in the field), 10 "Zero Length" Stub launchers for HVAR's, K-14 gunsight added

P-47M Pure Fighter with no ground attack capability except for Machine Guns, intended to attack V-1 Flying Bombs

P-47N Added fuel tanks to wings for duty in Pacifie Theater Operations to escoet B-29 Superfotress on Japan Raids, Reconfiguration of wings to accomodate the added fuel tanks resulted in squared wing tips which improved roll rate.

It doesn't represent any specific block. It's simply a P-47D bubble top running at a higher boost.

Still a P-47D-27 I'd say. The model and armanent didn't change.
